Terms, Policies &
Guest Guidelines

Please read this contract carefully.
 

By submitting your booking and the required payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by all terms, policies, and conditions outlined below.
 

The Princess Cottage is a private event venue thoughtfully designed for children’s birthday celebrations. Each celebration is guided by a dedicated hostess, who leads activities and helps ensure a smooth, joyful, and magical experience for all guests.
 

All guests are expected to follow these policies, terms, and guidelines to support the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of everyone.

Age, Safety & Accessibility   

  • The Princess Cottage does not provide licensed cosmetology services. All activities offered are strictly for entertainment purposes only.

  •  The cottage is located on the second floor and does not have elevator access.

  • We are not a peanut-free facility.

  • Running and jumping are not permitted inside or outside the premises to help maintain a safe environment.

  • For the safety and comfort of all guests, children under the age of 3 are not permitted inside the cottage.

    • Infants are welcome in carriers only.

    • Strollers and free movement for very young children are not permitted due to space and safety considerations. We appreciate your understanding.

  • The Princess Cottage is not responsible for injuries or property damage caused by party or event guests. The parent, guardian, or client hosting the celebration assumes responsibility for any damages incurred.
     

Arrival & Timeliness

  • The Birthday Princess may arrive up to 5 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.

  • Celebrations begin and end promptly at their scheduled time.

  • If your party arrives after the scheduled start time, the celebration will proceed as planned and activities may be adjusted accordingly. The end time cannot be extended due to late arrival. Parties will not be canceled or rescheduled due to tardiness.

  • The Princess Cottage is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, vehicle issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.

  • Once all services are complete and we have enjoyed the birthday moment with cupcakes and birthday wishes, the celebration concludes at the allotted time. We appreciate your understanding, as we must prepare the cottage for upcoming celebrations.

  • Additional time must be arranged and prepaid in advance, allowing us to properly schedule staff and prepare for parties before and after yours.

Food & Beverages     
 

  • Guests are welcome to bring cupcakes and a bottled beverage for the celebration.

  • Cakes, pizza, individual juice boxes, bottled water, and canned beverages are not permitted.

  • Tea sandwiches may be permitted only with prior discussion and approval.

  • No other outside food is permitted

     

Decorations & Additional Services   
 

  • The cottage is decorated in a specific, carefully curated style; therefore, no outside decorations are permitted.

  • The client is responsible for any damage caused by their guests during the event.

  • Any additional services requested by the client may result in additional charges.

Behavior & Supervision 
 

  • Guests are expected to behave responsibly at all times.

  • Children must be supervised by an adult throughout the celebration.

  • For the safety and comfort of all guests, children are expected to follow hostess instructions.

  • If a child has difficulty after a reminder, a parent or guardian may be asked to assist.

  • Continued disruptive behavior may result in the celebration being asked to conclude early.

Dress Code  
 

  • All guests are warmly encouraged to dress up a little to match the charm of our tea-party-style celebration, creating beautiful photos and memories together — adults included.

  •  Dresses should not drag on the floor or include long trains to prevent tripping.

  • Shoes must have non-skid soles.

  • Slipper-style shoes are not permitted. 
     


Booking, Payment & Reservation Details 
 

  • A non-refundable $50 deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your date and time.

  • The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days prior to your scheduled celebration.

  • No refunds are offered.

  • Reschedule requests may be considered in cases of illness or extreme weather, with prior discussion and approval.

Liability & Agreement    
 

By acknowledging this contract and submitting your booking, you release The Princess Cottage LLC from any potential liability and agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Princess Cottage LLC and its employees from any damage, loss, or injury that may occur.
 

Should any property of The Princess Cottage be lost or damaged due to the actions of your party’s attendees, you agree to reimburse The Princess Cottage LLC for repair or replacement as needed.
 

By submitting your booking, you confirm that you have read and understood this agreement and accept responsibility for your entire party’s compliance with the terms outlined herein. Reservations cannot be confirmed without the required $50 deposit. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the celebration date.
